We stayed here for our honeymoon and had the most peaceful and relaxing time in Lierna and the towns surrounding Lake Como. Giulia was beyond helpful, picking us up and dropping us off from the train station, arranging reservations, and bringing us fresh croissants every morning. The villa is even more stunning in person than it is in photos and everything is as described. Truly could not be happier. If you’re looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway that’s still close enough to Varenna and the rest of the lake, this is the place for you.

The best holiday we’ve had in years! Giulia was a fantastic host- extremely friendly, responsive and flexible in scheduling our requests, just a pleasure to work with. The house and property is beyond beautiful! Private, relaxing, with spectacular views! We recommend booking some of their extra services. Transport to and from the airport was clutch. Where to start? The wonderful photos do not do Villa Maria Laura justice. My husband and I stayed 4 nights for our honeymoon and were completely blown away by the home, the location, and of course the attention to detail and incredibly warm welcome (including delicious treats and gorgeous flowers) from the lovely Giulia. No ask was too much for Giulia, making our stay the highlight of our month-long holiday in Italy. Thank you so much! We can’t wait to return

Giulia looked after us so incredibly well. I’ve never dealt with such a good host nor hotel manager. She was exemplary. The house itself has probably one of the best views of any location in the world and superb facilities. Simply put - host and house superb.
